Delight Games!!

 as movie trivia? not exactly...

Ok, so this post is a little bit different. I haven't had internet for about a month now, at least in my home. So I have been sorting things, knitting lots of hats, and playing the only games on my tablet that will work. I have been extremely entertained by a series of games by Delight Games (it all started with Zombie High (Epic Series btw, DEFINITELY check it out on Google Play (or whatever app downloading thing you have)

 ( gleplaGooy = accidental typo that I am SO gonna use again!!

Then onto Witch Saga, and now Wizards Choice)  I LOVE these GAMES, (there are only a couple typos in the entire series of games, once it even repeats a sentence, but in completely different words, and its funny and more charming and organic.  The Story-lines are GREAT, point systems are great, VERY addictive! I can't wait for new stuff to come out!!!) the possibilities of all new adventures!

Anyway, I have been playing Wizards Choice, and something has been bugging me since the day I first got the game. The girl in the very first episode in the series (the woman on the cover) looks JUST like someone I remember watching on a show in '99, early 2000 called Big Wolf On Campus, I mean EXACTLY! She has been in numerous things, shows and movies, including Twilight! And a show I used to watch with my mom and loved called A Gifted Man

Anyway, On to my comparison. What do you think... Do you think she inspired The Priestess on Wizards Choice? I TOTALLY think so!

Today I have a special treat, I am so flipping excited and proud to share my Incredibly talented little sisters' short film trilogy, starting with I Never Can, this post Packed full of trivia from the film that will have you on your toes!! And be sure to check out all the links located at the bottom of the page, including Energy Costs (which is NOW about to be cast at SOU!!), and check out more of Migs videos on Youtube!

(Hint, if you watch all videos, not just ones she posted, you may even catch a few commercials, including a super one for 5hour energy!! That, I won't link you to, you have to find that yourself! I have another piece of trivia for that someday soon, by the way)

-Mig Windows launched an indiegogo campaign to help finish the film trilogy. Although they met their goal, they are still accepting Donations!! Click HERE to help out!!

-Its based on a short story by Lafcadio Hearn called "The Reconciliation," which is in turn a Japanese horror tale, ghost story or 
"Kwaidan" or "Kaiden" (怪談)

-It was filmed in 24 hours.

-It has screened at the 2015 SOU Film Festival, The Killer Valley Horror Film Festival, and  the Klamath Independent Film Festival.

Rory Owens, Migs co-director/Director of Photography, is a popular wedding videographer in the Rogue Valley. He runs the production company with his extremely talented wife, Angelica, who has been a makeup artist/line producer on the movie. Their company is called "AR Owens Productions"

-The role of "Sean" was initially supposed to go to another actor, who ended up having a conflict. Connor Chaney, a friend of Mig and Jon, happened to be in the area and wasn't doing anything that day. He memorized his entire scene in less than half an hour, and Windows was so impressed with his acting that she gave Sean a bigger part in the next two films.

-It's the first film in a trilogy. The second film, "I Never Will" is in post production and the third film "I Never Did" is Currently being filmed.

-The picture on the dining room table is from "Energy Costs" a play that Mig Windows (Director, "Jenny") wrote and Jon Cates ("Matt") starred in.

Mig, I love you so much and am so proud of you!! Thank you so much for being such an inspiration, and I can't wait to see everything else you have in store for the world! Ok, this one combines a few of my favorite shows, and my youngest star yet!
 this is Season 5 Episode 6 Malcolms Job, take particular notice to the little "girl" next to Jamie.

This is a video that introduces the star, baby Jamie, on Malcolm in the Middle, and where he actually started out.... I first notice this when it first aired. The baby you know as Jamie wasn't always... well, Jamie! Take a look.

Seth Green Quoted Me!!

kind of....OK, so things the first time I posted this news, because it's a special kind of trivia, Its personal!! Remember when I told you about *ganky* in one of my previous posts

It is NOT on YouTube anymore, at least I can't it anymore, and for some reason HALF my post is gone?! I guess something happened last time I was updating!

Any-who, here is A clip from Crackles original and AWESOME Supermansion, It starts off in the exact moment of the show where you are introduced to The Omega Pets In an episode called They Shoot Omega Pets, Don't They? (been a while since I have seen the episode, But the names are HILARIOUS, but my favorite one is GANKY the CUTE little Horse who is voiced by Clark Duke, The adorable funny guy on Hot Tub Time Machine, the Kick Ass movies, and SuperBad, as well as many others!

And that is how Seth Green Quoted me!! My friends and I coin a term, and years and years later, the great Seth Green names a cute youthful character THAT NAME, Gank Usually means to take or swipe, but he uses it in a VERY similar meaning as WE intended!

 #Ganky is a term my friends and I made up in college, the link above talks a little more about it.

      A while back I started my day with one of my favorite shows, Charmed.
I have been watching this show forever, with my mom and sister, since the show first aired, I never missed an episode, even when I moved up to college!! Through the years I always seem to go back to it, More in love with it every time I watch it!
I love everything about it!

  So after a few episodes, I decided to move on to something else, a comedy.  I put on a comedy that I have seen about a million times... and what do you think I noticed?? I had LITERALLY watched Grandma's Boy Right after Charmed.

You won't believe me unless I showed you....

When they actually played MUSIC on MTV!?!
Someone came out with a LONG video, 
one that people still talk about to this day. 

Yes, I was a baby when it came out, but ever since I could remember I watched this music video... no... I watched the MAKING OF this video OVER AND OVER AND OVER (My dad had taped it from TV, so I watched it whenever I wanted... I knew the house like the back of my hand!

How about THIS?

 That's right!! It's the same house! Not joking!

I even Google Earth Mapped it to confirm it!!!

Can I call it or WHAT???

And thought it is NOT on the Filming Locations specifically, 

I think Google Earth is proof enough for Me, how about you!

UPDATE!

 OK! So my boyfriend and I love movies made before 1994 (Will explain someday what this means)
and we found a place that  has VHS for 10cents each, and we grabbed all kinds of movies, ones we have seen, ones we haven't, ones we couldn't live without, and ones we have never even heard of, and we came across one with Nick Cage, and I had never seen it, OR heard of it, neither had he.... I LOVE NICK CAGE MOVIES, and thought I had seen them all, hes one of my faves. Anyway, as we were driving home, i look at the back of the box and see 4 girls, kinda blurry, cant even make out one of their faces, that's how bad the image was... and who do I see? well who do I THINK I see? WELL I couldn't prove it til I watched it, BUT I WAS RIGHT! The MOVIE was adorable, though it was NOT PG as the box HAD SAID! IMDB says it is Rated R!! Is this rare? I couldn't believe it! 
Apparently there are many covers, but this is the one I captured! Pretty cute!
(but that doesn't look like Julie that much! at least to me)

'And HERE is for the REAL kicker, Just GUESS the name of Julies' BOYFRIEND in the movie, 
TOMMY! REALLY?!? 

 and NOW for the best part... I think this movie inspired a SONG... POSSIBLY, I don't want to give TOO much away about the movie, but the guy Suzi likes?
Fountains of Wayne MUST have gotten part of the idea of the song from THIS MOVIE, (kinda) , Especially the Pool scene, Just wait till you see it.. AND there is already Reference to 80's Movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High  With Nic Cage, again, which came out just ONE year BEFORE Valley Girl.  (and don't even get me started on the kid in the THAT music video, that's for another post!


They CLAIM Its subject matter was inspired by a friend of Schlesinger's when he was young who had a crush on his grandmother, but I don't believe it, watch the movie, then You tell me!! What do you think!
