Middle Boy Who?

Welcome to Random Recognizer!!

So glad you are here!!

So this just might be my on of my favorite posts yet!
One of my favorite movies is Grandma's Boy, Which I have discussed in a previous post called
Grandma Lives Next Door To Witches!?

Several years ago I was introduced to 2 shows, BOTH cancelled, (in my opinion WAY too early)

Middleman on ABC which I watched with my SISTER while it was still airing, and Samantha Who which I found AFTER it had already been (sadly) Canceled. But WHILE watching each of these shows, I noticed something, and it is what spawned my Same Location Section of Random Recognizer. Sure I have noticed other movies with same locations, but this was the first time I though "HEY! I should start a BLOG and SHOW that they are the Same Location.

Alex is standing outside his work looking for a ride,

and maybe a place to stay.

Doesn't the entrance to Brainasiam look

a LOT like

the airport in which Dub-Dub picks up Sensei Ping?

That isn't all, we are JUST getting Started! The very next frame

is Timmy responding to Alex, Notice as he pulls away.

And HERE is the one of the next frames

from the same scene in Middleman where Dub-Dub and Sensei Ping are surrounded

Take a notice of the surrounding areas again.

Looks pretty similar right?

Again, Look at the wall behind the Silver guys!

(Notice the rail in a later part if this Post)

Here is an outside shot of Brainasium/SamanthaWho/Middleman Location, looking up

This is the following scene where The Middleman Finds

the knocked out Dub-Dub on the ground, Does this look familiar?

Now, This isn't the only movie or show filmed here...

There are many many more, But the next one I noticed was

Don't worry Samantha! Remember, they film Lots of things there!

This was filmed on the second floor/walkway of the building,

but definitely on the same lot.

Grandma Lives Next Door To Witches and Zombies!?

Since I am updating, I will fill you in on some things.

It is Now the Halloween Season, So I will try to have all new Halloween Themed Posts if I can help it! I have since been able to work on my graphics for these posts, All of Images are either screen captures, or are Images that are Labeled for REUSE with Modification in Google :-)

A while back I started my day with one of my favorite shows, Charmed.
I have been watching this show forever, with my mom and sister, since the show first aired, I never missed an episode, even when I moved up to college!! Through the years I always seem to go back to it, More in love with it every time I watch it!
I love everything about it!

So after a few episodes, I decided to move on to something else, a comedy. I put on a comedy that I have seen about a million times... and what do you think I noticed?? I had LITERALLY watched Grandma's Boy Right after Charmed.

You won't believe me unless I showed you....

This is in the yard when Samantha asked Grandma to help Alex defend Demonic against JP!! I am 1000% sure, even look at the neighbors houses!!

Look at the house accross the street, with the yellow house "Dan" lived in next door. And a third one beyond that.

*wink* That 3rd house is your next surprise, your Halloween Surprise!

Yeah, I know, she lives across the street, not next door, but still!

*Random Trivia

1: Though Charmed takes place in

San Francisco

(I am originally From the BAY AREA!! First coincidence )

They had actually filmed the scenes in Las Angeles!!

2:Joel David Moore,

aka JP in Grandmas Boy was a student at SOU

When I moved up to Southern Oregon for College.

(second coincidence!! How odd is that!)

That next year I was able to see him at

OSF 2000-01

Also known as

Oregon Shakespeare Festival

As soon as I can find the copy of the program,

I will scan it!

Now, on to the SURPRISE!

I was googling the address of the Charmed House on Caroll Avenue and

I came up on something that I hadn't noticed before....

Let me give you a larger picture of it.

Do you see it yet? Besides being NEXT DOOR to Dan's House on Charmed.....

Do you know what this house to the LEFT is used for!?

(No not Dan's House)

Ok ok, I will tell you...
Remember back from 1983 when
Music Videos were all the rage?
When they actually played MUSIC on MTV!?!
Someone came out with a LONG video,
one that people still talk about to this day.

Yes, I was a baby when it came out, but ever since I could remember I watched this music video... no... I watched the MAKING OF this video OVER AND OVER AND OVER (My dad had taped it from TV, so I watched it whenever I wanted... I knew the house like the back of my hand!

How about THIS?

That's right!! It's the same house! Not joking!

I even Google Earth Mapped it to confirm it!!!

Can I call it or WHAT???

And thought it is NOT on the Filming Locations specifically,

I think Google Earth is proof enough for Me, how about you!
